Dataswyft Strengthens Leadership Team With Senior Appointments to Drive Global Growth, Government Engagement
1 July 2025 – Dataswyft, a leading company in secure, programmable data infrastructure, today announced the appointment of four senior leaders to enhance the company’s capabilities across strategy, policy, government relations and communications. The appointments mark a significant milestone in the company’s mission to build a trusted, human-centric data ecosystem for the digital economy.
The new hires include:
Davide Ceper, senior director, global strategy and growth
Ceper leads strategic partnerships and co-creates high-impact data ecosystems to scale adoption of Dataswyft’s technology. He brings more than 15 years of experience in strategy, business development, and innovation. He began his career at McKinsey & Co., where he co-founded the firm’s agriculture practice in Brazil, and later held senior roles at Gruppo Isagro and Yara International. At Yara, he launched and scaled Varda, a data infrastructure platform for sustainable agriculture. Ceper is known for turning complex challenges into scalable growth strategies that deliver real-world value.
Dr. Conor Farrington, senior director, innovation and policy
Farrington leads innovation and policy at Dataswyft, overseeing the development of HATLAB Studio and aligning emerging technologies with evolving market and regulatory environments. He brings expertise in research, policy and climate technology from previous roles at SATAVIA, (acquired by GE Aerospace) and as an academic at the University of Cambridge. He is a published author in both academic and mainstream outlets, and holds a doctorate from the University of Cambridge, with additional research experience at Harvard.
Shah Sidek, senior director, government affairs
Sidek leads Dataswyft’s global government affairs strategy, working with regulators and institutions to shape responsible, citizen-centric data ecosystems. He brings decades of experience in digital innovation and public policy, having founded California-based VtoV.com Inc. and held leadership roles at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Digi Telecommunications and other technology ventures. He has advised global organizations, served as a judge and mentor for entrepreneurship programs, and held senior roles in digital infrastructure and health care technology. He currently serves on Malaysia’s Data Commission Committee.
Evelyn Lee, director, communications
Lee oversees Dataswyft’s global communications and brand strategy, including messaging, media relations, content development and executive visibility. With over 20 years of international experience, she has held senior agency roles and in-house settings across Singapore, the United States, China and Myanmar. She previously led client strategy at The Hoffman Agency and Blanc & Otus. She later spearheaded digital marketing transformation and stakeholder engagement across the Rest of Asia region at Oxford Immunotec, a biotech diagnostics company (acquired by Revvity).
