What is a Dataswyft Wallet

A Dataswyft Wallet is a sophisticated digital tool designed for the management and sharing of information.

How it works

1. Get data

Users acquire their data (e.g. from a bank, a hospital or any app) to store in their own data account as a “data profile”.

2. Claim badges

Users use their data to authenticate “badges” E.g. “Above 21” with bank’s data (date of birth).

3. Discover Offers

Users view where they can use their badges, with offers personalised to badges in the data wallet.

4. Use badges

Users use badges as proof, to fill forms or share data with a secure QR code, across borders, fully compliant.

Case Study:

CheckD Dataswyft Wallet

The Dataswyft Wallet enabled us to build a multi-sided market of proofs - supporting our issuers to issue proofs of identity, membership, qualifications; so that they can distribute to their proof holders to be used with recipients of the proofs especially across borders.

As people move around more, they face a challenge not just in proving who they are - but their abilities, qualifications, and even achievements. CheckD solves this with a higher level digital assurance (ie proofs) in the Dataswyft Wallet which is better than a piece of paper.
