CheckD Data Wallet Alpha testing at CADE 2024

The CheckD Data Wallet was out on Alpha testing at the International Conference on AI and the Digital Economy (CADE 2024) in Venice, Italy this week on June 24.

Participants validated their badges that held their dinner tickets.

They also transferred their data to provide the requester with their names and email addresses.

The entire community – conference participants – were issued their IDs and badges, set up within a day on CheckD without any app.

Conference chair Professor Carsten Maple from the University of Warwick said: “We are delighted to pioneer this technology in a live environment and explore the future possibilities of its usage.”

Angelika Kerlin, an attendee of the conference, added that “the ability to share my personal details with a QR code is super easy, feels more secure and is a time saver. I think it’s great that I own my data too!”

CheckD is a Phygital Data Wallet with IDs and data you own that you can validate and transfer on demand. The decentralized future is finally here. In the Phygital space!
