Partnership with JEV Management to Streamline Job Seekers’ Skills Verification with CheckD Data Wallet

In a move set to revolutionize the hiring process, leading recruitment and job placement agency JEV Management has signed an MoU with Dataswyft to streamline the verification of job seekers’ skills using the CheckD Data Wallet. This partnership empowers job seekers to securely store and share information about their verified skills with potential employers, significantly reducing the time and effort required for background checks.
JEV Management partners with various universities and training providers to place students and graduates into internships and job roles. As part of their services to employers, JEV verifies the credentials and skills listed in candidates’ CVs.
"Verifying skills is a time-consuming and costly process, but once completed, it can be reused multiple times with different employers," said Jess Low, CEO of JEV Management. "By providing job seekers with a Data Wallet containing their JEV-verified skills, we’re simplifying the job application process. What previously took 2-4 days of background checks can now be done in minutes for potential employers."
The process is designed for ease of use through two methods. For the first method, Job Seekers registered with JEV Management can key in their skills profile after they sign up to the CheckD Data Wallet and submit the information to JEV for verification (see diagram below) to obtain their JEV Verified Skills Data Profile (JVS Data Profile). For the second method, Job seekers can choose to directly acquire their JVS Data Profile into the Data Wallet after being redirected to JEV Management’s portal to obtain the verified information.
Once the JVS Data Profile is securely stored in their Data Wallet, job seekers can apply the information to various digital "badges" featuring unique QR codes. For instance, their degree details can be attached to a "Verified CV badge”, which can be shared with potential employers at recruitment events as well as be listed on JEV Management’s recruitment portal as pre-verified by the agency.
The JEV Verified Skills Data Profile offers two levels of assurance. The first level is provided by JEV Management, verifying the job seeker's credentials. The second level involves Dataswyft’s e-Notary service which was announced last week; it digitally attests the skills through a certified notary public. This second level of assurance is particularly valuable for job seekers aiming to apply for positions abroad or with employers not directly affiliated with JEV Management.
